TCEE Gala: A Wonderful Night and Amazing Sucess!
On November 4, 2010 Ohabei Shalom held its most historic and successful fundraising Gala ever. The L'Dor VaDor Gala, an evening to honor Dena and Marty Trust, and benefiting the Trust Center for Early Education, was a dramatic and wonderful event, enabling us to reach our fundraising goal, $1 million dollars, for the evening.
Various media outlets covered the event; a story on the evening and a color photo appeared on the social events page of today's Boston Globe and Boston Herald
.
As a part of the festivities, Jerry Stiller personally visited Temple Ohabei Shalom and spent time with our preschoolers. He came away impressed, not only by our magnificent facilities, but also by the joy of the children, the warmth of his welcome, and the excitement about the future growth of the preschool.
